I don't know wheather it's an age thing or life been busy but I can not believe another season is almost coming to an end and Sola is begining to look at sales ! Some stock is now on sale in Sola and I have added new lines to our Sale section. Sizes are limited so be sure to get in there quick. Here are just a few of my favourite pieces now on sale.
I love the ditsy print on this Part Two top. This top is quite light in handle and looks great under a blazer or tucked inside a skirt for work. I love navy as we move into Spring, just a break away from black and this little buy is the perfect top to carry you into Spring. Now 50% off.
Next up is this mock turtle neck. This piece is an great alternative to the scarf. If you like turtle neck sweater but don't like the bulkiness under your coat , well this piece is just what you are looking for. Pop it on over you head as a scarf to keep snug as a bug this winter. It comes in a rust/reddish colour too. Again with 50% off , this is a great buy. Something new and fresh to add to your wardrobe.
Final piece I am going to talk about is this bag and it's at a steal for 20 euro. This is a great work bag, big enough to fit the kitchen sick in so to speek. I love the gold detail againist the black, it makes it look a lot more expensive.
So they are my picks for this week. Remeber delivery is free for the month of December and last date we will send out pieces for Christmas delivery is Monday the 19th. After this date parcels will be sent out but we are not guaranting Christmas delivery.
Happy Shopping ladies
December 8th is always one of my favourite days in Sola. The festive spirit really moves up a gear and everyone is very much focused on their Christmas list. Sola alway kicks off this shopping spree with a discount. This year we are offering 20% off everything, both instore and on line. The code for on line is DEC8
Our discount is a thank you for shopping with us all year. You our customers make Sola Boutique what it is. By continuing to shop with us, I can make Sola Boutique a better store and a better shopping experince for you.
This year we have developed our website, which has been very exciting. I think with everyone's lives so busy now, it help, to be able to pop onto our website and see what is new in store. However I will alway be a foot through a door shopper, so our actual store will alway have a way more to offer than our website! But I am sure as my online customers develop, you will keep me on my toes and so the website will get bigger and better!
Best of luck with your Christmas shopping, just remeber to try and shop local where you can!
Happy discount day!

Condello Accessories are new to Sola this season and there is a great range of scarves now in store and on line. Here is a picture of my favourite one, for this week! They are all so soft and beautiful. A black base with a stripe and star print. There is then a great splash of colour from the magenta in the middle. There is also a navy mix and grey mix available.
Next up is a La Bougie candle. We have 6 options in store and online. My favourite this week is Mission Fig. I like to stock up on these candles so if you are do a bit of Christmas visiting, you will always have one handy to wrap and take with you. There is always too much drink and food, so a gift of a La Bougie candle is a nice alternative.
My final pick today is a pair of gloves from Not made up , a great Danish label, now in store and online. These gloves have a beautiful fur lining and are so luxurious and warm. There is a few colour options in store and online so click on the picture to take you to the link.

With the festive season fast approaching, lots of customers are picking up some gifts for Christmas. This week I am going to quickly do the 3 most popular gifts so far.
1 - A chunky scarf and cap set.
With the temperature dipping dramatically this week, lots of customers are looking towards cosy accessories. Love this matching cap and chunky scarf from Not Made Up, a beautiful accessory label from Copenhagen. This set is in two colourways, grey/pink/black or navy/khaki/grey.
2 - Next up is a Slang hangbag.
All the ways from Barcelona , these handbags have created quite a stir since their arrival. They are functional, hardwearing stylish day bags . Few options on line and for a wider selection pop in store. Loving the mid size dark carbon options.
3 - Socks in a box for men.
My final pick for this week is something for the man in your life!. The bamboo socks in a box . These socks are beautiful crafted by Braintree, with 4 pairs per box, his twinkle toes love them.
Have you started your Christmas shopping? Hope this list will be a help, will post more ideas next week.
It has been another busy week here in Sola Boutique, with lots of gift ideas for the festive season now in store and on line. Here is the link to our Gift ideas section. One of my favourite products to arrive this week, is the La Bougie candle and diffusers.
Made in Ballinspittle here in West Cork, La Bougie launched in the summer of 2012 by Lucy Hagerty. Lucy had a illustrious career as a chef in the UK to the Duchess of York, Sarah Fergerson. After she married an Irish man, had children and eventually settled here, what she wanted to do was to create the perfect candle. ‘I think food, taste and smell are quite similar,’ she says. She spent eight years learning the secrets of the perfume world and a further two learning how to create the candles herself.
I am currently burning Sweet Pea and Pear and this is an ideal candle to light when you want to sit down and relax for an hour with a good book.
If you want to be taken back to your summer holidays, on these cold November days, then I suggest Honeysuckle and sea salt. This is a beautiful scent, that will transport you back to happy carefree summer days.
The room diffuser is new to Sola Boutique this year. If you like to have your favourite space scented these diffusers last up to 6 months. I do love the Mission Fig one best.
Do yo have a La Bougie candle or diffuser? What is your favourite one?
Winter has well and truely set in here in Bantry , West Cork. It's cold, dark and pretty much miserable!
However along with winter comes cosy sweaters, woolly hats and lots of treats to banish the misery!
My picks for this week have all just landed here are Sola HQ.
First up are the dark denim jeggings. These jeggings are Sola's number one selling item, all year around! For the winter they are in a dark dark denim and look super tucked inside your high boots. If you want a bit more weigh than your leggings , but the comfort of leggings these are a must for you. The have great back pocket detail and looks just as stylish as your skinny jeans.
Next up are two options in knitwear. The navy fluffy sweater is so cosy and the crew neck detail will keep you extra warm. Or if you want to add come colour to your winter why not go for the pocket sweater.
The final piece for this week is a layering long sleeve tee from No 2moro. Again I stock these all year around but as you can image they are a big hit for the winter. Layer these under sweaters and you will be so cosy! Also the lace detail adds a little length , to cover the bum!
Team all these pieces for a nice relaxed but stylish look. So there you go, what are you favourite things about winter?
October has well and truely arrived here in Bantry. There is a real nip in the air. So in order to stay cosy, I have picked out some of my favourite pieces that are now in store and on line.
First up is a the faded stripe cap in the navy option. I love the soft stripe detail with this cap. There is a grey stripe option also available.
Secondly, is the matching scarf that goes with this scarf. This is a nice chunky knit adding an extra cosy layer for the winter.
Thirdly, I love to wear ankle boots for the winter and opaque tights. The printed skirt from Braintree is a must in my wardrobe. I wear it with a simple black shirt or tee. These bamboo tights in the picture are available in our hosiery section too.
Fourth on my list for October is a long sleeve layering top from No 2mor. I have these in every colour and they are great under sweaters for the winter. They are really warm and the lace detail along the bottom adds a little glam to an outfit. I love the black one tucked inside my Braintree Printed skirt.
The final piece I have picked for October is a box of bamboo socks. There is four pairs in each box. They are so cosy and the bamboo will keep your toes warm and breathable all winter long. Once you start wearing these socks you will never go back!
What is your favourite piece?
